It's the one the only the magnificent . . . . drumroll please "SHAYLA", BUUUUURRRPPP Awe that felt good.  Yes everyone we have a very talented and beautiful parrot that burps leaving the crowds going wild.  LOL.  Really though, Miss Shayla came to us in the summer of 2008 from a gentleman actor that did not have enough time at home to spend with her anymore.  The economy left her owner having to work long hours which left him worried about his wonderfully talented bird.  Parrots can have many different ways of showing stress and her owner was very smart in realizing that she could easily start plucking feathers, become a screamer or just loose her marbles all together from boredom.  We have had such joy in our lives since receiving this little bundle that there isn't a day that goes by that she doesn't put a big smile on someones face.  She can sing full opera songs, she speaks in a british accent, a car alarm and so many more.  She is partial to one of the founders which come to find out is actually scared of birds but will in this case spend much quality time singing and playing with Shayla through the cage of course. 

Shayla has proven to be a big part of Forever Wild as one of our animal ambassadors.  She enjoys going to outreach programs for schools, libraries and special events.  No lack of attention anymore this girl is a star.  You will have no problem at all picking her out from our newly built bird section but if you do she is the parrot singing how pretty she is.
