Over the last several years Forever Wild has been called to help the local and federal authorities to pick up many illegal reptiles from all over the state of California. Many of these animals are venomous and can not be released to the average rescue facilities. We maintain proper permits through the required agencies to be involved in the ownership of these type of animals. Joel and his team also bring many years of experience to be able to work with these type of dangerous animals. All of the venomous and non-venomous reptiles currently residing here at Forever Wild were all given to us as confiscations, abandonment, or illegal owners relinquishing animals to us. Forever Wild does not buy any venomous or non-venomous animals.

2/26/10 Breaking news, very sad to report straight from the ranch we just got a very young desert tortoise dropped off by a very nice older couple that found him crossing the bridge and the Lenwood exit in Barstow barely missed getting ran over by 3 buses they said.  Ok that wasn't the bad part the really disturbing part is that the very small tortoise was wrapped with duct tape and as I was unraveling him very slowly and carefully wires were exposed like he was connected to a bomb. The explosive must have slipped off somehow and the wires were wrapped around his body with the duct tape.
